In 1959 a 15 year old Keith Dixon walked through the doors of what was then known as Bill Snape Motorcycles, to start his apprenticeship as a motorcycle mechanic.

In 1969 Norman golding took over the dealership until 5 years later when Keith bought the business in 1974.
The business has seen a number of franchises come and go through its doors, but since the 70s Yamaha has been the franchise to stand the test of time.

All Keiths efforts were rewarded in 2008 when Keith Dixon motorcycles won the Yamaha Master of customer care award.

In his spare time Keith also races Motorcycles, for quite a number of years he has taken part in The Classic Manx GP, Keith maintains and races two machines, an AJS 7R, and a Seeley G50.
 
Continuing down the racing theme we also Sponsor Mark Cronshaw, We supply and maintain Mark's Yamaha YZF-R6 machines, These bikes have served him well, with Mark winning the New Era championship on two occasions.
